CMC/IMRO Copying Fund

Thanks to a grant from IMRO (Irish Music Rights Organisation) in 2012, CMC has been able to continue assisting composers in meeting the costs of preparing scores and parts of works by Irish composers.

The scheme, which has an upcoming deadline on 15 April and other deadlines on 15 July and 15 October this year, provides funding towards the costs of production of performance materials by Irish composers, and is open to individuals or organisations which have employed a professional copyist to make score or parts for a new work of four or more instruments and/or voices.

While priority will be given to works which receive their first performance, the scheme is also available to cover the typesetting costs for older, handwritten works which have received a recent performance.

Further details and application form here and guidelines here.

CMC is very grateful for IMRO’s continued support of the scheme.
