Now in its fifth year, the festival is held in Borris House, Borris Co. Carlow and will include new music from Garth Knox, Benjamin Dwyer and Barry Guy, who along with Maya Homburger is artistic director of the festival.

On Saturday, 16 May at 2.00pm the launch of a new limited-edition book entitled Imagines by New Dublin Press takes place. The publication, which documents years of artistic research and practice, brings together composer Benjamin Dwyer, poet Kimberly Campanello, and author/editor Jonathan Creasy, and includes Dwyer’s score of solo new viola work Imagines obesae et aspectui ingratae alongside poems and commentary.

The following day, 17 May sees the Irish premiere of the work by Garth Knox as part of a programme of works which also includes music by Garth Knox, Rory Boyle, and Ligeti as well as poetry readings by Kimberly Campanello.

Composer and improvisor Barry Guy features in two concerts, on 16 May with Greek singer Savina Yannatou, and on the 17th in a trio with long-time collaborators pianist Marilyn Crispell and percussionist Paul Lytton.
