DIT Composers’ Concert at the Pepper Canister Church

Student composers in DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama present an evening of newly composed music. The concert will feature special guest performances by renowned performers Martin Johnson (RTE National Symphony Orchestra) and Jane O’ Leary (Composer and founder of Concorde), Elaine Clark (RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, and Concorde) and David James (RTÉ Concert Orchestra and Concorde). They will be joined by emerging performer Kathleen McPhail, and also DIT performance students Jaime Gonzalez and Deirdre Reddy.

The concert will feature new compositions by Glen Austin, Dave Flynn, Julia Mahon, Dermot Mc Dermott, and Dan O’Neill and it will be presented in the Pepper Canister Church (St. Stephens Church) just off Merrion Square on Monday February 21st at 7.30pm.   Refreshments will follow the concert and admission is free so all you have to spend is your time!
